History

The Quimby Family Foundation was formed in 2004 by Roxanne Quimby a businesswoman, environmentalist, and philanthropist. The following year her twins, Hannah Quimby and Lucas St.Clair joined the foundation Board of Directors. Meet the current Board of Directors.

Mission

The mission of the Quimby Family Foundation is to promote healthy, vibrant Maine communities by advancing outdoor recreation and education opportunities, encouraging sustainable use of natural and agricultural resources, and by supporting local access to the arts for all Maine people.

Our Vision

We envision thriving Maine communities enriched with a deep commitment to local arts and environmental stewardship where the work of our artists, preservationists, farmers, and educators is highly valued and the natural landscape is cherished.
